There are also some delectable charcuteries for you to whip up some tasty French cuisine back in the fully equipped apartment. Alternatively, after an exhilarating day on the mountain, you may be too tired to cook so why not take advantage of the multitude of high quality restaurants serving everything from traditional Savoyard cuisine to mouth watering Italian pizzas?
The clear waters of the river Giffre run through Samoëns' valley.
Take a gentle walk around the picturesque lake and watch the paragliders land next to the outdoor swimming pool.
Take some time to enjoy the botanic gardens containing alpine plants from all over the world. Wind your way to the very top to take advantage of stunning photo opportunities.
Samoëns' beautiful 17th century church, land mark fountain, traditional market square and surrounding architecture provide a superb backdrop for your holiday photos whilst you enjoy a cup of French coffee or a vin chaud in a pavement cafe.
On Wednesdays you can visit the village market and pick up some locally crafted gifts and souvenirs to take home as mementos.
Conveniently, in winter there is even a ski hire shop on the ground floor of your building and in summer the same shop provides mountain bike hire and white water rafting tours - this is all on your doorstep!
Samoëns is unique because it is the only Ski village which boasts a heritage order on its 17th century church and monuments.
